Electronic notarization and Manhattan mobile appointments use different booking systems. Choose the format you need below. Both options are ready now. Do not send documents or identification by ordinary email.
Electronic notarization
Upload your document through my secure Notary Hub profile. I receive and review it through the platform before the appointment. You can also choose a time, complete identity verification, and pay for electronic notarization there.
Mobile notary in Manhattan
Choose an available time and provide the Manhattan service address. A standard booking includes the $50 mobile fee; notarial acts are charged separately after the appointment. Choose the free option for Free Community Notary.
Which appointment should I choose?
- Choose Notary Hub when the document can be signed and notarized electronically by secure live video. You will upload the document, choose a time, complete identity verification, attend the session, and pay in Notary Hub.
- Choose Square when you have a paper document and want me to come to your Manhattan location. Square shows available times, collects the service address, and handles the mobile booking fee.
The receiving person or organization decides whether it will accept an electronic notarization. If you are unsure, ask before booking.
Electronic notarization in Notary Hub
Book electronic notarization through my Notary Hub profile. There, you can upload the complete document, choose an available time, complete identity verification, join the live audio-video session, and pay for the electronic notarial acts.
Upload documents and identification for electronic notarization only in Notary Hub—not in Square, ordinary email, or the public contact form.
Mobile appointments in Square
All traditional mobile appointments—including Free Community Notary appointments—are booked through Square. For a standard paid appointment, Square collects the full Manhattan service address and charges the $50 mobile fee when you book. The mobile fee reserves the travel appointment; it does not include New York’s statutory fees for notarial acts.
After the completed notarial acts, you may pay those separate fees by contactless card through Square or in cash. You receive an itemized amount rather than a combined “notary fee.”
Cancel or reschedule at least three hours before the appointment for a full refund of the $50 mobile fee. After that cutoff, the fee is not refunded when the visit cannot take place because of a late cancellation, no-show, unavailable signer or witness, lack of access, or another client-side issue.
Free Community Notary
Every Crawford Notary service provided through Free Community Notary is free for immigrants, refugees, and people seeking asylum. No proof of immigration status is requested.
- For a free Manhattan mobile appointment, choose the Free Community Notary option in Square. Only the service address is required; there is no $50 mobile fee and no notarial fee.
- For a free electronic-notarization appointment, use Notary Hub and write Free Community Notary in the comment field. The electronic-notarization fee will be $0.
Before you book
- Ask the receiving person or organization whether it accepts the proposed format.
- Have the complete document and any recipient instructions ready.
- Do not sign in advance when the signature must be witnessed.
- Confirm whether every signer and required witness can attend.
- Have acceptable, unexpired identification available.
A booking, document review, or payment does not guarantee completion. I make the final decision during the appointment after checking identity, willingness, awareness, direct communication, the document, and every other applicable requirement.
Available appointment times are shown in the applicable booking system. For a short question before booking, email sergei@crawfordnotary.com or send a text message. You may also call (646) 450-0504 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Messages are preferred. There is no public walk-in office.
