Sergei Crawford provides notarial services as a New York Notary Public and Electronic Notary Public. He is not acting as your attorney, immigration representative, tax adviser, financial adviser, translator, or document preparer.
No legal or immigration advice
I do not choose or prepare documents, complete forms, select a notarial certificate, interpret legal consequences, recommend immigration evidence, or represent anyone before a court or government agency. For those services, consult a properly licensed professional.
The recipient sets its own requirements
The person or organization receiving a document decides whether to accept it. Before booking, confirm the required form, notarial act, certificate wording, witnesses, language, and whether an electronic notarization or papered-out record is acceptable.
What notarization does not prove
A notarial act addresses identity and a specific procedure. It does not establish that every statement is true, that a transaction is lawful, that a document is enforceable, that a translation is accurate, or that a recipient will accept the result.
No certified copies or translation certification
New York notaries do not have general authority to issue certified copies. I also do not certify translations. When requested, I may notarize a translator’s signature or administer an oath to the translator; the translator remains responsible for the statement and translation.
Final decision at the appointment
A quote, payment, or preliminary review does not guarantee completion. I may decline or stop if identity, willingness, awareness, direct communication, document, witness, technology, safety, fraud-prevention, or legal requirements are not met.
