I’m Sergei Crawford, a New York Notary Public and registered Electronic Notary Public. I conduct remote online appointments and travel to clients in Manhattan for traditional paper notarizations. We can meet in English or Russian.
I moved to the United States in 2017. I remember how much harder a routine task can feel when the terminology is unfamiliar and every office seems to work differently. That experience shapes the way I work today: I explain the process plainly, tell you what to prepare, and keep online, mobile, and notarial charges clear and separate.
You work directly with me from the first question through the appointment. There is no call center and no handoff to an unknown notary.
What you can expect
- clear preparation instructions;
- careful identity and document handling;
- direct communication in English or Russian;
- clear, separate pricing for online, mobile, and notarial charges; and
- an honest answer when a request is outside my authority or should go back to the receiving organization or an attorney.
The limits of my role
A U.S. Notary Public is not the same as a civil-law notary in many other countries. I do not draft or correct documents, choose forms or certificates, interpret legal consequences, provide immigration advice, or guarantee that a recipient will accept a document.
I can explain how an acknowledgment differs procedurally from a jurat, but the document, its preparer, the receiving organization, or your attorney must tell you which act is required.
